Who we are

Fin-Uwezo (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2024/230227/07), trading as Fin-Uwezo, is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy. Our address is 99 6th Avenue, Highlands North, Johannesburg, South Africa.

What we collect

Through this website

• The name, organisation, email address, telephone number, approximate headcount and message you submit through our enquiry form.
• Standard server log information recorded by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request.

Through our clinics and programmes

• Attendance and consent records, collected on site with your written informed consent.
• Information you share with a professional during a private consultation. This stays between you and that professional, subject to their own professional body's confidentiality obligations.
• De-identified summary notes used to compile anonymised thematic reporting for the employer.

What we do with it

• Reply to your enquiry and arrange a first conversation.
• Plan, deliver and coordinate clinics and programmes.
• Produce anonymised, aggregated reporting for the client organisation and, where an engagement calls for it, for independent evaluation by Moyomuhle Social Solutions.
• Meet our legal, regulatory and reporting obligations.

We do not sell financial products, we do not earn commission, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

What an employer never receives

An employer is not told that a specific employee attended, what was discussed, what is owed, to whom, or what was recommended. Employer reporting is anonymised and aggregated, and contains nothing from which an individual can be identified.

Who we share it with

• The panel professionals delivering a consultation, each bound by their own professional confidentiality obligations and by their contract with us.
• Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our instruction.
• Moyomuhle Social Solutions, for independent evaluation, using de-identified data.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us. Consent and attendance records are kept for 5 years in line with our client contracts. De-identified data used in reporting is kept indefinitely because it can no longer identify anyone.

How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards: access is limited to people who need it, this website is served over HTTPS, and consultation notes leave a site only in de-identified form.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and complain to the Information Regulator. See our POPIA and Data Protection notice for how to make a request.

Cookies

This website sets one session cookie, used only to protect the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which means your browser contacts Google when you view a page.
